Justin’s underlying focus is to strengthen his clients ability to control their own body weight and perform better in everyday activities.  His motivation is seeing others succeed in whatever challenges and goals they may have!  His clients appreciate his creative customized training approach, and his deep understanding of body mechanics and progressions.  No two training sessions are exactly alike!  

Justin is a certified personal trainer who has trained in the Wilmington area for over ten years.  He received his Bachelor of Physical Education, with a concentration in Exercise Science, from UNCW in 2005.  His internships with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Dale Boyd, Cape Fear Sports Medicine, Wilmington Physical Therapy and the Hammerheads soccer team cemented his foundation in body mechanics, post rehabilitation and sports specific training techniques and progressions.  Justin is a certified TRX suspension Trainer.

Prior to opening his own studio, Justin served for over six years as the Fitness Director and main Personal Trainer at Porters Neck Country Club.  He has retained many of his original clients over the years, which is a testament to the results and personal relationships forged!




Mary Cusick, Mat pilates

Mary received mat, beginner, intermediate and advanced Pilates training, at Pilates On Fifth, in New York City.  Locally, she was a Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor and Group Fitness Instructor at Porters Neck Country Club for over 6 years.  Continuing to learn, she attends private and group Pilates reformer and apparatus sessions.  Always conscious of alignment and form, she will  guide participants with modifications, regressions, progressions or alternative movements.

SHARON ELY, chair yoga

Sharon has been a practicing Yogi for 14 years.  In 2014, she obtained her RYT200 teaching certification from Porters Neck Yoga, and is registered with the Yoga Alliance.  She has experience teaching all Levels of Yoga including:  Meditation, Children’s Yoga, Senior Yoga, and Restorative Yoga.  Sharon is a certified Level III Reiki Master and is certified in Seichim Energy Work.  Her holistic approach to teaching is based on Mindfulness and focuses on the mind/body connection for physical, mental and spiritual well being.  Always growing in her practice, Sharon is currently studying and practicing Qigong and Tai Chi.
